Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program Processing Times Improve in Q2 2026

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has recently published its processing times for the second quarter of 2026, revealing that most application types were processed within two weeks.

The data for April 1 to June 30, 2026, indicates a general improvement in processing times compared to the previous quarter.

Changes in SINP Processing Times

During the second quarter of 2026, none of the SINP application types experienced longer processing times; instead, they either improved or remained consistent.

Out of the nine application categories monitored by the SINP, five were processed more efficiently:

  • International Skilled Worker – Employment offer: 2 weeks (previously 3 weeks)
  • International Skilled Worker – Innovation and Tech Talent Pathway: 2 weeks (unchanged)
  • International Skilled Worker – Agriculture Talent Pathway: 2 weeks (previously 3 weeks)
  • International Skilled Worker – Health Talent Pathway: 2 weeks (unchanged)
  • Saskatchewan Experience – Existing Work Permit: 2 weeks (previously 3 weeks)
  • Saskatchewan Experience – International Students: 2 weeks (unchanged)
  • *Second Reviews – Applicants with Job Offers: 1 week (previously 2 weeks)
  • Second Reviews – Applicants without Job Offers: N/A
  • Job Approval Process – Employer Position Assessments: 3 weeks (previously 4 weeks)

*Applicants are required to request a second review of their provincial nomination application within 30 days of receiving an “ineligible letter” from the SINP, provided adequate justification is given.
