Québec recently conducted a new immigration selection round on June 4, inviting candidates through all four streams of its Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ).
A total of 2,549 provincial immigration candidates were invited in this draw, with the majority possessing highly qualified and specialized skills (42.9%).
This draw marked the province’s fifth of the year, with selections for all streams made from the Arrima pool on June 1, 2026, at 6:00 a.m.

Stream 1: Highly Qualified and Specialized Skills
A total of 1,094 invitations were issued across all four exercises under Stream 1 of the PSTQ to workers with occupations falling under TEER 0, 1, or 2, currently residing in Québec, and with 12 months’ work experience over the last five years.

All candidates had to demonstrate a French language proficiency of level 7 or higher for both oral and written skills, with accompanying spouses needing a level 4 or higher in oral skills. Additionally, candidates were required to complete one year of full-time study in the province and possess specific Québec diplomas.
