Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program: Latest Updates and Draw Results

On February 19, 2026, Prince Edward Island conducted its recent selection round under the PEI Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), following the province’s projected Invitation to Apply (ITA) timeline.

Similar to previous draws this year, PEI gave priority to candidates with local connections and strong alignment with occupations and priority sectors deemed to have significant economic impact. There was also a focus on international graduates from specific designated learning institutions (DLIs).

Draw Results

Prince Edward Island’s latest draw resulted in 109 provincial nominee candidates receiving invitations through the Labour Impact and Express Entry pathways.

The province highlighted that invitations were extended to individuals working in occupations and priority sectors crucial for the province’s economy, including healthcare, trades, manufacturing, and other industries facing labor shortages.

International graduates from University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and Collège de l’Île were given priority in this draw.

Individuals in the sales and service sector may not receive invitations at this time, as per the province’s announcement.

Choosing the Right Stream

Newcomers interested in PEI’s provincial immigration options can utilize PEI’s Workforce Program Selector Tool to identify suitable pathways based on their qualifications and program criteria.

The tool guides candidates through a series of questions related to their age, education, work experience, and job offers to suggest potential streams for exploration.

PEI advises that the tool is for guidance purposes only, offering a quick assessment to assist newcomers in finding the most suitable immigration stream.
