Preparing for Permanent Residence in Canada: Documents You Need to Have

Foreign workers in Canada considering applying for permanent residence through the new temporary resident to permanent resident (TR to PR) pathway should start preparing certain documents in advance.

Although the pathway has been launched, the government has not yet released specific eligibility criteria or application instructions. More details are expected in April 2026.
