On April 30, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted draws under its Employer Job Offer streams targeting candidates in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The province issued a total of 997 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to professionals in healthcare, construction, trades, administration, tech, and IT sectors.
To be eligible for these draws, OINP candidates must be residing in Canada with a valid work or study permit and have a job offer in the GTA, which includes Census Divisions such as Durham, Peel, Toronto, and York.
Draw Details
Ontario’s end-of-April draw invited candidates through its Foreign Worker and International Student job offer streams. The majority of the 997 invitations were issued through the Foreign Worker Stream. The cutoff scores and number of invitations varied by stream:
| Stream | Invitations issued | Cutoff score |
|---|---|---|
| Foreign Worker | 720 | 57 |
| International Student | 277 | 81 |
Only profiles created and attested by April 28, 2026, were considered in these draws. This marks the province’s sixth round of selections in April. The draw also represents the second targeted selection for the GTA this year.
The previous GTA draw occurred on March 25. Comparing the recent GTA-focused draws to the March 25 selection round, which saw 431 candidates invited, shows the program’s ongoing efforts to nominate skilled professionals for provincial immigration.
