New Opportunities for Trades Professionals in Canada

Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted the first trades draw in nearly a year, offering a fresh set of invitations to professionals to apply for permanent residence (PR).

The latest draw saw 1,250 candidates from Express Entry’s trade category with a minimum CRS of 505 receiving invitations.

Although the CRS cut-off for this draw was higher compared to other category-based selections in Express Entry, the department is anticipated to hold more trades draws before the year concludes.

This article presents hypothetical profiles that could have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through the recent trades draw.
