The Government of New Brunswick recently conducted a series of draws between March 3 and March 6, 2026, inviting provincial immigration candidates to apply for various streams.
Invitations were extended across three NBPNP streams and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP), focusing on candidates with expertise in key priority sectors.
Highlights of the Draw
In the latest round, New Brunswick issued a total of 622 invitations under its immigration programs.
Candidates were selected through the New Brunswick AIP and the following NBPNP streams:
- New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
- New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream
- New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
The cut-off date for all Expressions of Interest (EOIs) considered in these draws was March 2, 2026.
New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream
Candidates were chosen through two pathways of the Skilled Worker Stream:
- The New Brunswick Experience pathway
- The New Brunswick Graduates pathway
Candidates were also prioritized based on their occupational category.
Approximately 45% of the invitations were issued under the Skilled Worker Stream, making it the largest category in this selection round.

The New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream caters to foreign nationals with job offers from eligible employers in the province.
Candidates must meet specific criteria, including having a full-time job offer, relevant skills, and language proficiency.

Candidates were selected through two pathways of the Strategic Initiative Stream:
- Francophone Workers in New Brunswick
- New Brunswick Francophone Priorities
