New Brunswick recently conducted several provincial immigration selections, issuing a total of 750 invitations between July 16 and July 22. These invitations were extended through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) and three streams of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).
Immigration Streams
Under the NBPNP, candidates were invited through the New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream, the New Brunswick Strategic Initiative, and the New Brunswick Express Entry stream. Candidates invited through the NBPNP have the opportunity to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
Candidates invited through the AIP may apply for certificates of endorsement, which can be utilized to apply to the federal government for permanent residence through the AIP.
Selection Details
Healthcare workers were consistently invited in each draw, with other targeted occupations varying by round.
Skilled Worker Stream
During the period of July 16 to July 18, New Brunswick conducted two selection rounds under the Skilled Worker Stream, resulting in 267 invitations being issued. Candidates received invitations through all three pathways under this stream.
