Recently, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) extended invitations to 741 foreign nationals to apply for provincial immigration. The selection included:

• 600 candidates across various trades and transportation occupations;
• 62 candidates in specific healthcare and transportation roles;
• 21 French-speaking candidates; and
• 58 strategically recruited candidates.

Recipients of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) have 60 days to submit a complete application to the MPNP for provincial nomination. Successful nominees can request work permit support letters to apply for work permits from the federal government.

• Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, including occupation-specific selection and Francophone selection;
• Skilled Worker Stream – in Manitoba and Overseas, with direct invitations under strategic recruitment initiatives.

Out of the 741 candidates invited, 150 had a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
