Recently, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) extended invitations to 741 foreign nationals to apply for provincial immigration. The selection included:
- 600 candidates across various trades and transportation occupations;
- 62 candidates in specific healthcare and transportation roles;
- 21 French-speaking candidates; and
- 58 strategically recruited candidates.
Recipients of Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) have 60 days to submit a complete application to the MPNP for provincial nomination. Successful nominees can request work permit support letters to apply for work permits from the federal government.

The selection criteria were categorized as follows:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway, including occupation-specific selection and Francophone selection;
- Skilled Worker Stream – in Manitoba and Overseas, with direct invitations under strategic recruitment initiatives.

Out of the 741 candidates invited, 150 had a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
