Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Invites Over 2,100 Applicants for Provincial Nomination

Recently, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued 2,146 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for provincial nomination. The recipients included international student graduates, skilled workers in Manitoba and overseas, and French speakers.

This selection round marked the largest one by the MPNP since September 2025 and was the 14th round of 2026.

Selection Criteria Breakdown

The invitations were distributed across three streams and pathways:

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway
    • Completion of post-secondary study in Manitoba.
    • Francophone selection.
    • Occupation-specific selection.
  • Skilled Worker Stream – in Manitoba and Overseas
    • Direct invitation by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.
  • International Education Stream – Graduate Internship pathway.

About 92.4% of the invitations were issued to candidates selected under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway.
