Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Immigration Draw Results

On April 9, 2026, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its most recent immigration draw, extending invitations through both pathways of its Skilled Worker Stream.

Candidates were selected if they had been directly invited by the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.

Draw Results

Manitoba issued a total of 32 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in this draw, the first one held by the province this month. The MPNP invited candidates through both the province’s Skilled Worker Stream pathways: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas.

The majority of LAAs were issued to candidates who indicated being invited under the ‘Employer Services’ recruitment initiative, making up about 31% of the total LAAs.

Here’s the breakdown of LAAs by strategic recruitment initiative:

Strategic Recruitment Initiative Number of LAAs Issued
Employer Services 10
Francophone Community 7
Ethnocultural Communities 5
Regional Communities 5
Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP) 5

Out of the 32 LAAs, eight were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry profile and job seeker validation code. Compared to the previous draw, Manitoba invited 30% fewer candidates in this round, with a total of 281 LAAs issued in 2026 so far.

Selection Criteria Clarification

If you met the selection criteria but did not receive an LAA, it could be due to reasons such as not providing a valid test number for an approved language test in your EOI or not meeting specific requirements related to strategic recruitment invitations.
