The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted a recent draw under its Skilled Worker Stream on March 26, extending invitations to candidates both within the province and overseas.
Candidates were selected if they had indicated being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.
This draw marked the sixth selection round for the province in 2026.
Draw Results
In the latest draw, the MPNP issued 14 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways of the Skilled Worker Stream.
The majority of invitations in this draw were allocated to candidates associated with the Francophone Community initiative, representing eight of the 14 LAAs issued.
| Strategic Recruitment Initiative | Invitations Issued |
| Employer Services | 4 |
| Ethnocultural Communities | 1 |
| Francophone Community | 8 |
| Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP) | 1 |
The MPNP clarified that no LAAs were issued through the Regional Communities initiative in this draw.
To be eligible for an invitation in this draw, candidates were required to have indicated in their EOI profiles that they were invited by the province under a strategic recruitment initiative or through the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates.
Out of the 14 LAAs issued in this round, three were allocated to candidates who had declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
