Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program Draws Over 800 Skilled Workers

Recently, Manitoba issued invitations to skilled worker candidates through the Skilled Worker stream of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Candidates were invited under both the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways, in an occupation-specific draw and employer-driven selection, respectively.

MPNP Draw Results

On October 9, 2025, Manitoba held Draw #255, inviting a total of 862 candidates to apply for provincial nomination.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba

A total of 583 LAAs were issued in this draw to candidates declaring current employment in healthcare-related occupations within Manitoba or corresponding to Home support workers and caregivers, and related occupations.

Profiles had to be employed in occupations in Manitoba that were either contained within the broad National Occupation Classification (NOC) group for health occupations or occupations that aligned with the specific NOC description for Home support worker and caregivers, and related occupations.

Skilled Worker Stream

An additional 279 LAAs were issued to candidates through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas pathways, who had submitted profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative. LAAs were distributed among candidates by initiative: Employer Services, Francophone Community, Regional Communities, and Ethnocultural Communities.
