Recently, Manitoba issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) under the Skilled Worker Stream on December 18, 2025.

The invitations were extended to candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba or Skilled Worker Overseas pathways who stated they were directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.

Draw Results

The 63 invitations issued in this draw were distributed to candidates across strategic recruitment initiatives, with a focus on Francophone candidates and candidates currently working in Manitoba.

  • Employer Services: 10
  • Francophone Community: 27
  • Regional Communities: 5
  • Temporary Public Policy: 21

Of the 63 candidates invited, eight had a valid Express Entry profile.

For more details on how to be invited under a strategic recruitment initiative, refer to the dedicated article on the topic.

If you met the selection criteria but did not receive an invitation, it may be due to specific reasons outlined by the MPNP.

Categories Considered

Here is a breakdown of the categories considered in this draw and what they signify:

  • Employer Services (10): Manitoba’s Employer Services initiative aims to assist approved Manitoba employers in retaining workers by endorsing eligible candidates through the MPNP.
  • Francophone Community (27): Manitoba identifies a “francophone candidate” as someone with French proficiency equal to or greater than their English, supported by an MPNP-approved language test.
  • Regional Communities (5): These initiatives support labour market and demographic needs in communities outside Winnipeg, in collaboration with local partners.
  • Temporary Public Policy (21): This category is linked to a temporary public policy facilitating work permits for certain prospective provincial nominees.
