IRCC Issues 6,000 ITAs in French-Language Express Entry Draw
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently conducted a draw in the Express Entry system, inviting 6,000 candidates with French language proficiency to apply for permanent residence.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for this draw was 408, and applicants were required to have created their profiles before May 26, 2025.
This draw marks the eighth French-language round of the year and is among the top three largest draws in 2025. The focus on French-speaking candidates is evident, with a total of 42,000 ITAs issued to Francophone applicants this year.
November has seen significant draw activity, with the sixth draw of the month targeting candidates in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), and Healthcare categories.
Overall, IRCC has issued 94,476 ITAs in 2025 across various Express Entry programs. The distribution of ITAs by category shows a strong emphasis on PNP rounds, followed by CEC, French-language draws, and priority occupations like Healthcare, Education, and Trades.
