Canada has extended a special policy until March 31, 2028, specifically for individuals from Gaza who hold a Canadian visitor visa from previous special programs. This extension allows them additional time to travel to Canada.

Typically, visitors are required to demonstrate plans to depart Canada and show sufficient financial means. However, under this policy extension, these two conditions are waived while all other standard checks remain in place.

It is important to note that new applications are not being accepted as the program has already reached its maximum limit of 5,000 applicants and is now closed. The extension primarily benefits approved individuals by granting them more time to finalize their travel arrangements to Canada.
