British Columbia Skills Immigration Category Fee Increase

British Columbia Raises Application Fee for Skills Immigration Category

British Columbia has recently announced an increase in the application fee for its Skills Immigration category, raising it from $1,475 to $1,750.

Effective January 22, 2026, the new fee will be applicable to all applications submitted on or after this date. Applications filed prior to this change will not be impacted. It is important to note that while the fee for the Skills Immigration category has been adjusted, other BC PNP fees such as those for Entrepreneur Immigration and request for review remain unchanged.

This fee adjustment pertains to various streams within the Skills Immigration category, including Skilled Worker, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled, and Health Authority streams. It also encompasses Express Entry BC applications associated with the Skilled Worker and Health Authority streams.

Applicants are required to pay this fee when submitting a nomination application through the BC PNP Online Portal. It is essential to highlight that the fee is refundable only if the application is withdrawn before the assessment process commences. Additionally, this provincial fee is distinct from the federal PR application fees payable to IRCC.
