In April, British Columbia (BC) conducted a selection round under its Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) category.
Candidates were chosen based on their potential to establish a new business or take over an existing one in BC.
Selection Results
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued invitations through the Base stream of its Entrepreneur Immigration Program.
The minimum score and number of invitations issued were as follows:
| Stream | Minimum score | Number of invitations |
| Base | 115 | 14 |
This selection round marked the largest standalone EI round in the province this year.
The minimum score of 115 points saw a slight decrease from the previous draw, indicating reduced competition for business candidates.
BC PNP has conducted six entrepreneur draws in 2026, with 41 invitations issued through the EI category.
