From May 24 to June 21, there was a significant increase in the number of top-scoring Express Entry profiles, growing at a rate 4,400% faster than the overall pool.
The overall Express Entry pool saw a growth of 0.33%, while the number of candidates scoring 501 or higher increased by 14.64%.
The 501–1,200 range accounted for 74.4% of all profile gains among score bands that expanded.
Key Changes in the Express Entry Pool
Between May 24 and June 21, the Express Entry pool increased from 238,847 to 239,645—a net increase of 798 profiles.
Growth was most notable in the 501–600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score range, with a rise of approximately 11.52%.
The top three brackets that experienced growth beyond the 501–600 range were:
- The 601–1,200 range gained 609 profiles;
- The 471–480 range gained 278 profiles; and
- The 481–490 range gained 275 profiles.
The growth in the 601–1,200 range between May 24 and June 21 marked a reversal compared to previous data, reflecting a positive trend in candidate accumulation.
Conversely, several score band ranges saw a contraction:
- The 0–400 bands lost a total of 1,312 profiles, with the 351–400 range alone losing 684 profiles;
- The 411–460 bands lost 1,489 profiles, with the greatest loss (-421 profiles) in the 431–440 range.
While seven score ranges experienced growth, eight saw declines, with various factors contributing to these fluctuations.
