Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program Holds Largest Draw of the Year

Alberta’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) recently conducted its most significant draw of the year. On September 12, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) extended invitations to over 1,000 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through the Alberta Opportunity Stream. Additionally, two more draws were held in the subsequent week, resulting in a total of 1,433 invitations being issued across the three draws.

The Alberta Opportunity Stream caters to temporary foreign workers employed full-time in Alberta with a qualifying job offer from an eligible employer. The Accelerated Tech Pathway targets tech professionals working in or having a job offer from Alberta in a tech occupation. On the other hand, the Alberta Express Entry Stream – Law Enforcement Pathway is tailored for candidates with job offers from Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police members to aid in meeting recruitment goals.

Candidates for the Express Entry-aligned streams must fulfill the requirements of the federal Express Entry system.

Invitations and Nominations Yet to Be Issued
