Alberta Immigration Draws: Workers in Priority Sectors Invited to Apply

Alberta recently conducted two provincial immigration draws targeting workers in priority sectors. A total of 82 invitations were issued through the Express Entry Stream for provincial nomination.

The draws focused on agriculture and construction sectors, with a majority of invitations (64.6%) going to construction workers. The latest draw details are as follows:

These draws set record high cut-off scores for this year. Alberta has already conducted targeted draws for construction and agriculture workers, inviting a total of 10,828 candidates for provincial nomination in 2026.
