As of February 26, 2026, AAIP has issued 612 nominations out of a federal allocation of 6,403, leaving 5,791 nominations to be issued throughout the year. The program is currently processing 1,032 applications.
Worker Expression of Interest (EOI) Pool
As of February 26, the AAIP reports 45,698 worker EOIs in the candidate pool. Candidates in the pool await selection for an invitation to apply for provincial nomination.
The majority of active EOIs are under the Alberta Opportunity Stream.
