Québec has extended invitations to 519 workers to apply for permanent selection.
Invitations were distributed on Sept. 24, encompassing all four streams of the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ), with a focus on workers possessing intermediate and manual skills (stream 2).
Selection Process Overview
This marked the ninth selection round of the year conducted by the Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI).
Stream 1: Highly Qualified and Specialized Skills
A total of 86 invitations were dispensed across three exercises under stream 1 of the PSTQ, targeting workers in TEER 0–2 occupations residing in Québec with at least 12 months of recent work experience in their primary occupation.

Profiles meeting the eligibility criteria were identified from the candidate pool on Sept. 21, 2026, at 1:10 p.m.
For exercise 1, candidates were required to have a primary occupation aligned with a priority sector, falling within specific healthcare, social services, education, and natural sciences occupations.
