Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued a significant number of invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. In a recent draw, the immigration department granted 733 ITAs to Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination. To be eligible for this draw, candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 725 and had to create an Express Entry candidate profile before a specific deadline.

A foreign national in Canada who has applied for permanent residence through Express Entry may qualify for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP). If their current work permit expires before the BOWP application is processed, they can continue working under maintained status conditions as long as they remain in Canada. Additionally, their family members may also be eligible for a BOWP.
