Canada Invites 250 Senior Managers for Permanent Residence

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recently issued a significant number of invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system.

The latest draw specifically targeted senior managers with Canadian work experience, with a total of 250 ITAs being issued.

To qualify for this draw, candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 389 and had to have created an Express Entry candidate profile before the specified deadline.

Foreign nationals in Canada who have applied for permanent residence through Express Entry may have the opportunity to secure a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) to continue working in the country.

If their current work permit expires before the BOWP application is processed, they can maintain their status and work under the conditions of the expired permit as long as they remain in Canada. Additionally, qualifying family members may also be eligible to apply for a BOWP.
