Québec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francisation and Integration (MIFI) recently conducted immigration selections under the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ), issuing a total of 790 invitations across various streams. The majority of invitations were extended to workers with intermediate and manual skills. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to apply for a Québec Selection Certificate (CSQ) to pursue permanent residence in Québec through the Canadian federal government. This latest round marks the eighth draw conducted by MIFI in 2026.

Selection Details

Profiles were assessed on August 24, 2026, across all four streams of the program. Stream 1 targeted individuals with highly qualified and specialized skills, resulting in 87 invitations being issued to workers in TEER 0–2 occupations. These candidates must have 12 months of work experience in the last five years and currently reside in Québec.
