On July 28, Newfoundland and Labrador issued 445 invitations to provincial immigration candidates.

Invitations were issued through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

This draw represents the province’s ninth selection round of the year.

Newfoundland and Labrador’s Office of Multiculturalism did not specify which specific streams candidates were invited under, or which sectors they worked in.

According to the province’s published Expression of Interest (EOI) prioritization criteria, candidates may be selected based on a variety of factors, such as employment in health-related or sales and service occupations, in-province education, and French-language proficiency.

The province’s latest draw was its largest by invitation count since March 6 of this year—a sharp contrast with the preceding round, which was its smallest of the year.
