Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has increased the number of invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. The immigration department conducted a draw specifically for candidates with French language proficiency, issuing 5,000 ITAs. To qualify for this draw, candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 420 and had to create an Express Entry candidate profile before 8:04 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on May 15, 2026.
