British Columbia recently conducted its seventh selection round in 2026 through the Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) category. The province aimed to attract entrepreneurs looking to establish new businesses or expand existing ones within the region.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) issued invitations across both EI streams, with varying minimum scores and numbers of invitations for each stream. The Base Stream had a minimum score of 118 with 14 invitations issued, while the Regional Stream had a minimum score of 113.
The June 30 draw marked the province’s second EI selection of the month, deviating from the usual pattern of one draw per month. Notably, this round set the highest Base Stream cutoff and the lowest Regional Stream cutoff of the year.
Throughout 2026, British Columbia has conducted a total of 12 EI draws, resulting in at least 78 invitations to apply for provincial nomination.
