Canada Issues Physicians Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence in 2026
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recently announced an increase in the number of invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. In a recent draw specifically for Physicians with Canadian Work Experience candidates, a total of 271 ITAs were issued.
To qualify for this draw, candidates were required to meet the following criteria:
- Attain a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 223
- Create an Express Entry candidate profile before 6:13 p.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on May 31, 2026
