British Columbia Invites Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs in Priority Occupations
British Columbia recently issued a total of 357 invitations through the BCPNP on June 2, targeting skilled workers in priority occupations and entrepreneurs interested in starting or buying a business in the province.
The majority of invitations were extended to Skills Immigration candidates, with a total of 342 workers invited under B.C.’s 2026 priorities, focusing on sectors such as health care, education, veterinary care, and construction trades.
The draw encompassed 91 invitations for education occupations, 117 for health occupations, 6 for veterinary care, and 128 for construction trades, with minimum scores ranging from 92 to 111.
B.C. also welcomed entrepreneurs through the Base and Regional streams, issuing at least 15 invitations under the Base Stream and fewer than 5 under the Regional Stream, both requiring a minimum score of 117.
As of 2026, British Columbia has already issued 2,485 Skills Immigration invitations and a minimum of 64 Entrepreneur Immigration invitations.
