Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) unveiled the most recent estimates for processing times of newly-submitted applications, showcasing significant improvements in wait times for various application types. Notably, applicants from India and Pakistan witnessed faster processing, while those from Nigeria and the U.S. experienced delays.

Work Permits

Individuals applying from Canada and Pakistan are now experiencing shorter wait times for work permits, particularly with Pakistan seeing a two-week reduction. Conversely, Nigeria encountered a six-week delay in processing.
