Recently, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its largest draw of the year, inviting over 900 candidates to apply (ITAs). This selection round targeted teachers, assistants, and individuals directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative. The latest draw represents the province’s ninth selection round of 2026.

Key Details of the Draw

Manitoba issued a total of 906 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in its first May draw. Provincial nominee candidates were invited through both pathways of Manitoba’s Skilled Worker Stream: Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas. The selection round was divided based on worker occupation and direct invitations under a recruitment initiative. The majority of invitations were issued to candidates invited through a strategic recruitment initiative.
