Following the transition to an Expression of Interest system in early 2026, the Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) has announced the outcomes of its inaugural immigration draw, which took place on March 25.
The selection process resulted in 65 candidates being invited through the Employer-Driven Stream.
NTNP’s March 25 Draw Results
Out of the 295 profiles in the candidate pool during the selection, the Northwest Territories extended invitations to the top 65 candidates on March 25.
The distribution of invitations across different pathways within the Employer-Driven Stream is outlined in the table below:
| Pathway | Invitations Issued |
|---|---|
| NWT Express Entry | 32 |
| Skilled Worker | 20 |
| Entry Level/Semi-Skilled | 13 |
The EOI scores in the NTNP’s first draw ranged from 417 to 597, with the majority of invitations (approximately 49%) being issued through the NWT Express Entry pathway.
Upcoming Employer-Driven Stream Draws
Two additional draws are scheduled under this stream, with each draw inviting up to 65 candidates to submit a complete nomination application.
The forthcoming draws are set to take place on:
- June 25, 2026; and
- September 25, 2026.
To be eligible for participation in either of these draws, candidates must submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles.
