New Brunswick Issues Invitations to Skilled Workers in Healthcare and IT

New Brunswick recently issued invitations to provincial immigration candidates in two draws targeting skilled workers in healthcare, information technology (IT), transportation, and manufacturing.

Invitations were extended through the New Brunswick Express Entry Stream and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

Draw Results

New Brunswick issued a total of 143 invitations across both programs in this selection round, spread over two days of draws:

  • NB Express Entry Stream: Employment in New Brunswick – Health care and IT – 25 invitations
  • Atlantic Immigration Program: Transportation and manufacturing – 118 invitations

Candidates needed to have submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI) before specific deadlines to be considered in the draws.

The recent draws mark the first selection round in over a month, following the issuance of 622 invitations in the previous round.

New Brunswick Express Entry Stream

The New Brunswick Express Entry Stream aligns with the federal Express Entry system and targets skilled foreign nationals with active Express Entry profiles.

The Employment in New Brunswick pathway focuses on candidates currently employed full-time in skilled, non-seasonal positions within the province.

Provincial nominees through this stream receive 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points, ensuring an invitation to apply for permanent residence through the federal Express Entry system.

Atlantic Immigration Program

The AIP is a federal-provincial program that supports the immigration of skilled workers to Atlantic Canada.
