On April 16, Prince Edward Island conducted its fourth draw of the year, issuing its largest number of invitations so far in 2026.
Invitations were extended to in-province individuals working in occupations and sectors deemed in high demand.
Draw Details
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) sent out a total of 127 invitations to qualifying provincial nominee candidates.
These were issued through two pathways, including Labour Impact and PEI Express Entry.
The province targeted individuals currently working in priority sectors and occupations seen as having a high economic impact.
International student graduates from three post-secondary institutions in PEI were further prioritized in the selection process:
- University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI);
- Holland College; and
- Collège de l’Île.
The PEI PNP has maintained the same selection criteria for all draws it has held in 2026.
This latest draw aligns with the province’s anticipated invitation to apply schedule, which lists tentative dates for when draws will take place throughout the year.
To date, the province has invited a total of 232 candidates to apply for provincial nomination.
How to Be Considered Through the PEI PNP
All individuals wishing to immigrate through the PEI PNP must create an account on the province’s website and submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to be assessed by the province.
