In March 2026, Newfoundland conducted its second provincial immigration draw of the year, extending invitations to over 200 candidates through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

Compared to the first draw of the year, this round saw a decrease in the number of invitations across both programs.

As of now, the province has issued a total of 690 invitations for provincial immigration, with the majority going to NLPNP candidates.

Last year, the first provincial draw took place earlier, indicating an increase in candidate selection numbers for the current year.

The first draw of 2026 saw a total of 445 invitations issued, with the majority through the NLPNP.
