Allocation Distribution
Alberta has been transparent about the distribution of nominations across various streams within the AAIP. The province has published detailed information on the number of nominations issued and intended for each stream. The Alberta Opportunity Stream accounts for over half (53%) of the total 2026 nominations, with 3,425 spaces allocated. The Rural Renewal Stream, Dedicated Health Care Pathways, and Tourism and Hospitality Stream have also received nomination spaces. The Alberta Express Entry Stream, which includes both Express Entry and non-Express Entry pathways, has been allocated 500 nominations.
