Alberta Immigration Program Reaches Full 2025 Nomination Allocation
The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) has officially met its full 2025 nomination allocation after issuing its final Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination. Having reached its declared 6,741 cap, it’s likely that no more provincial nomination invitations will be issued hereafter. Its final round of invitations, published retroactively, focused on healthcare professionals.

A breakdown of the AAIP’s 2025 nomination distribution in 2025
This year, the AAIP started with 4,875 nominations, but following an increase of 1,728 more spots, ended the year with a total of 6,603 nomination slots. Despite being allotted 6,603 nominations, it issued 6,750 nominations—noting the issuance of “some nominations under a small Express Entry administrative overage provided by the federal government.
