British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program Draws Hundreds of Candidates

New Skills Immigration Draw by BC PNP

Recently, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducted a skills immigration invitation round to select candidates with high economic potential.

Draw Results

On December 10, 2025, BC PNP issued 410 invitations to apply (ITAs) across various skills immigration streams in British Columbia. Candidates were selected based on their rankings in the province’s scoring system or their ability to secure high-wage employment in B.C.

  • High-wage + skilled job offer: $87/hour ($170,000/year) with a job offer in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 – 96 invitations
  • Points-based: 138 points – 314 invitations

The program emphasizes that future ITAs will consider different factors, and only qualified registrations received before the draw date are eligible for invitations.

Comparison of Scores

As of December 2, there are 11,083 candidates in the BC PNP pool, with approximately 50% having scores at or below 100 points. The distribution of candidates based on score ranges is as follows:

Score Range Number of Registrations Percentile Range
150+ 41 99.63 – 100.00
140 – 149 179 98.01 – 99.63
130 – 139 804 90.76 – 98.01
120 – 129 1,161 82.43 – 90.76

This recent draw marked the first Skills Immigration round in December, following a two-month hiatus since the previous draw in October. BC PNP has conducted only three Skills Immigration draws in 2025.
