Qatari citizens have been granted visa-free travel to Canada, a recent announcement by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) revealed. The change, effective immediately, allows Qatari citizens to enter Canada without the need for a visa.

Instead of a visa, Qatari citizens will now only require an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to visit Canada. This new regulation streamlines the entry process, eliminating the need for lengthy visa applications and wait times.

Applying for an eTA is a simple process that can be completed quickly, with approvals often granted within minutes. All that is needed is a valid passport, a form of payment, and an email address.
