About the Streams

The Alberta Opportunity Stream accounted for the majority of invites in this round, catering to temporary foreign workers with full-time jobs in Alberta and a qualifying job offer.

The Dedicated Health Care Pathway targets individuals with job offers in health care professions, while the Alberta Express Entry Stream offers pathways for law enforcement and priority sectors like construction.

Provincial Nomination Figures

The AAIP received a total of 4,875 nomination slots in January 2025, which increased to 6,603 in September. Alberta has issued 5,137 nominations to date, with 1,466 nomination spaces remaining.
