Latest Express Entry Draw Highlights
Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted a significant Express Entry draw on October 6, issuing 4,500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with French-language proficiency. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 432.
This draw marked the largest one since September 4, emphasizing the focus on French-speaking candidates. Throughout the year, French-language draws have consistently seen substantial invitation numbers, with a record-breaking 7,500-ITA draw on March 21.
In 2025, French-speaking candidates have received a total of 30,000 ITAs, making them the most invited group. IRCC is planning to increase its Francophone immigration targets outside Quebec next year, suggesting more frequent French-language draws in the future.
IRCC has issued a total of 70,338 ITAs across various categories in 2025. Draws have predominantly centered around Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) rounds, followed by Canadian Experience Class (CEC), French-language, and priority occupation categories like healthcare, education, and trades.
