Canadian Experience Class Candidates Invited to Apply for Permanent Residence

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) recently announced the invitation of 1,000 Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates to apply for permanent residence in the latest Express Entry draw, which took place on September 3, 2025.

To be eligible, candidates were required to have a minimum CRS score of 534 and had to have created their Express Entry profile prior to August 14, 2025.

This draw marked the second one in September, following a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on September 2. In total, IRCC has issued 57,069 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) throughout this year.

The Express Entry draws in 2025 have primarily targeted PNP candidates, with some additional invitations extended to CEC applicants, French-speaking candidates, and individuals in priority occupations like healthcare, social services, and education.

  • PNP: 16 draws
  • CEC: 9 draws
  • French-language proficiency: 4 draws
  • Healthcare and social services: 4 draws
  • Education: 1 draw
