Recently, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released updated processing time estimates for various temporary residence categories, indicating reduced wait times for certain applicants.

Improvements in in-Canada work permit processing times have been noted, with wait times decreasing by over two weeks. Work permit submissions from India and Nigeria also saw one-week reductions.

Visitor visa applicants from specific countries like India and the Philippines experienced slight improvements in wait times. However, super visa wait times increased overall, particularly for applicants from Pakistan and the U.S., with significant rises of 11 days and one week, respectively.

Applicants from Canada, Pakistan, and Nigeria witnessed decreases in work permit wait times, with a notable 15-day reduction for in-Canada applications.
