New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program 2026 Draws: Key Highlights

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) recently conducted its first set of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for 2026 between January 13–15.

Invitations were issued through three streams, all requiring connections to the province for eligibility.

New Brunswick granted a total of 379 ITAs for provincial nomination in the latest round, with candidates selected from the following streams:

  • New Brunswick Express Entry Stream;
  • New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream; and
  • New Brunswick Strategic Initiative Stream.

The deadline for all EOI submissions was January 12 at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Standard Time.

About this stream: The NB Skilled Worker Stream targets skilled foreign nationals with current employment or job offers from New Brunswick Employers.

To qualify under the New Brunswick experience pathway, candidates must meet specific requirements, including residing in the province for the past six months and having relevant work experience.

To qualify under the New Brunswick graduates pathway, candidates must have completed a Post-Graduation Work Permit-eligible program at a New Brunswick-based institution.
