Latest Express Entry Draw Results and Updates

Recent updates from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reveal an increase in invitations to apply (ITA) through the Express Entry system. The latest draw saw 576 ITAs issued to candidates with a provincial nomination.

To qualify for this draw, candidates had to meet specific criteria, including a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 734 and the creation of an Express Entry profile before a certain deadline.

Benefits for Applicants

  • Applicants in Canada seeking permanent residence through Express Entry can now apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP).
  • If their current work permit expires before a decision on their BOWP application is made, they can benefit from maintained status, allowing them to continue working under their existing permit conditions while in Canada.
  • Family members of the primary applicant may also be eligible to apply for a BOWP.
