Canada’s New Express Entry Draw for Senior Managers: A Step Towards Immigration

Canada’s Latest Express Entry Draw Targets Senior Managers

Recently, Canada conducted its first Express Entry draw aimed at senior managers with Canadian work experience. In the draw held on March 5, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 250 invitations to apply (ITAs). To qualify, candidates needed a minimum CRS score of 429 and had to have established their Express Entry profile before August 19, 2025.

This new category, introduced in February 2026, is specifically tailored for senior managers in various sectors including construction, services, health, education, and business. Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of one year of Canadian work experience within the past three years in a relevant management occupation.
